1. Welcome to Wedilens!

Thank you for choosing Wedilens! Our platform helps event hosts collect and manage photos and videos from their guests. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Accounts and Media Management

Hosts must register with an email or Google account and are responsible for keeping their login details secure. If we detect suspicious activity, we may suspend accounts for security reasons. Hosts can create events, customize settings, and share a link or QR code with guests. Guests do not need an account to upload media.

Hosts have full control over their event media and can delete or download content at any time. If a host suspects unauthorized access, they can generate a new QR code or link to prevent further unwanted uploads.

Users retain full ownership of their uploaded content. Wedilens only stores and displays media for event hosts and guests. We do not use, modify, or distribute user content beyond what is necessary to provide the service. Hosts decide whether their content is displayed. Hosts are responsible for ensuring they have the right to collect media from their guests, and Wedilens facilitates this on their behalf. Uploaded content must be legal and appropriate. Guests can delete their own uploads within 24 hours.

3. Plans, Storage, and Fair Use

Free trial accounts have limited uploads, while paid plans allow unlimited uploads under a fair usage policy. Abuse of the system, such as excessive uploads unrelated to events, may result in content removal or account suspension.

Paid events store media for one year from the event date, with an option to extend for another year. Extension pricing is based on storage amount and will be communicated via email 30 days before expiration. Hosts will receive notifications before the storage period ends to take action before deletion.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We assess refunds based on usage, time since purchase, and other reasonable factors.

Hosts can also use the slideshow feature to display uploaded media in real time during the event.

4. Service Reliability and Security

We securely store media using Cloudflare R2 and strive for reliable service, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for data loss, lost memories, or service downtime, though we will do our best to prevent and restore lost data. We are also not responsible for disruptions due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters or cyberattacks.

Users must not upload spam, illegal, harmful, or offensive content or attempt unauthorized access. Illegal content can be reported to [email protected], and we will review and take necessary action, including removal. For serious violations, we may block the user and their event. We comply with applicable laws and remove any illegal content upon notification. We will review reports promptly and take appropriate action based on the severity of the violation.

5. Privacy, Account Closure, and Updates

We collect minimal data to improve our service. More details are in our Privacy Policy. We use analytics tools like PostHog to understand user interactions and enhance the platform.

Users can delete their accounts anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we update these terms, we will notify users of major changes via email. Continued use of Wedilens after updates indicates acceptance.
